ColombiaModa – Fashion Week
#day2

Fashion Week ColombiaModa day2

I wanted to highlight a designer on the second day of ColombiaModa, and I chose Andrés Pajón. He presented a collection where dresses were the kings of the runway. Andrés knows what he’s doing and that’s why he’s getting all the applause. The collection’s palette was very varied: it featured bright, light and also dark tones that gave color to the clothes in his collection.

I didn’t have the opportunity to model for him, but I was very pleased to have been able to see every detail of his clothes up close, which I would describe as feminine and elegant with a touch of sensuality. However, there’s room for improvement regarding his makeup proposal; I didn’t think it was the right one, even though you won’t be able to see it very well in the photographs and my colleagues all look beautiful. Their eyes looked dull and subdued during the show, which is very unflattering in my opinion…

Not everything’s about the fashion shows; there are other interesting things happening like I told you yesterday in my post. I made my own schedule based on my personal interests, which I covered and experimented with. What I’ll show you below is the press release for Neos Moda, a new shopping center. This project, led by businessman Jorge Mattos and Paulina Vega, is simply wonderful. It was designed by Mexican architect Enrique Norten and features 350 business spaces for rent (12 square meters) spread over six floors, plus another four floors worth of warehouses.

“Our intention is to promote fashion; we’ll offer advice and design, fashion and innovation workshops to allow them to improve their business, since this is a very important market for the city and the country in general”, said Pilar Castaño, one of the project’s consultants.

During the “Simply: the power of a good idea” conference given by Juan Carlos Molina Villegas – Director of La Tienda Creativa – Super interesting!

Who doesn’t like New Balance? For the past few years they’ve become one of the musts in any fashion lover’s closet. You can combine them with everything. New Balance presented its new collection at ColombiaModa and did so well! The show was fun and flawless, all the models put their best acting on display and had a live voice that made my hair stand on end!
